Soccer town catered Eight Wedding Cakes of Love through 2020 Peak Global Uncertainty

During the peak of 2020 global uncertainty, as world leaders and experts scrambled to figure out the level of threat they were facing by a new type of infectious microbe.


In a small soccer town situated about 219 km from Suva, a young betrothed Fijian couple were also trying to figure out how this was going to affect their wedding plans.

They made it through eight years of courting, and without hesitation they decided to go through 2020 hand-in-hand.


They sought permits from necessary local authorities in Ba Town to allow them to hold their matrimonial ceremony with close loved ones present.

You know I once said I'll be single for life... but

Mr Naqele crossed paths with the love of his life and put a ring on it. Now he is an agent of love, encouraging other people to get married and to invite him.
