The session began at 9:00 AM with a 10 minutes break at 11:00 AM. The training is divided into morning and afternoon sessions which ends at 3:00 PM. Participants are required to attend both in order to receive a Certificate at the end.
There were more than twenty participants including myself. We went over how to make dishwashing paste, body bath soap and laundry bar or laundry flakes.
At 11:10 AM, the session resumed with a Soap Calculator Demonstration. The trainer blended traditional and scientific knowledge. She had spent hours in front of the computer to come up with a soap recipe that was ideal for babies, senior-aged people and those who have sensitive skin.
In this training, she shared her soap recipe as part of the demonstration, encouraging participants to give it a try.
Her Private Facebook Group that's only for those who attend the trainings, Making Soap with Rajneesh, has close to 400 members.
Then, she went over Product Costing. It was quite informative because participants learned how to calculate cost per unit and mark up prices.
Lunch break began at 12:43 PM with the afternoon session commencing at 2:00 PM.
For a practical live demonstration, she went with coffee today. This is absolutely lovely because a few actually want to make and sell coffee soap.
Lastly, she demonstrated how to make dishwashing paste which is cost effective and convenient for families.
Coconut oil and wood ash are amongst the ingredients for making dishwashing paste as demonstrated.
If soap making is something you're interested in due to skin conditions, saving money or starting your own business. Then you should consider joining the trainings provided by FRIEND.
