The pouring rain didn't deter families and young adults from showing up in numbers at Damodar City Cinema this evening, just to enjoy the last Korean film, Baseball Girl.
The parking lot was fully occupied with the gloomy grey sky hanging over the cinema. Contrasting with the bright attractive lights.
This was a perfect way to spend family time together, as well as expose children to Korean culture, people, language and movies. Fostering a sense of appreciation and understanding for a different culture and race from their own.
The air was filled with excitement as parents purchased some buttery salted popcorn, choc-ice-cream and coke for their children and loved ones.
Native Korean university students volunteering for the three-day event happily engaged with the audience. Sharing informative booklets about their country.
More photo booth pictures, BIG SMILES!
Who says you can't read in the cinemas?
The audience utilized the waiting time by engrossing themselves in the booklets they were given.
Finally, the time they'd all been patiently anticipating had arrived. They skipped into the corridor towards Cinema 3 with bright smiles on their faces.
